Mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, we all have children around us, lets gets them outside and into the great outdoors.

Here in New Zealand we are going into winter and we are in the middle of our hunting season. Any opportunity we have to take our kids out hunting weekends or school holidays kids add another dimension to being out in the great outdoors. Their innocence energy and excitement is always overwhelming they never stop learning and we never stop learning from them, they keep us young, they keep us active and give us so much love. How could you not want to take them outdoors!

Hunting, fishing, boating, four wheel driving, skiing, sailing, camping, hiking whatever your outdoor pursuits are make sure you involve the youth of today.

When was the last time you took your children, grandchildren into the great outdoors? We all have excuses and life is busy but what is most important….. family!

My son Sam is a very fortunate young man because I am an outfitter he is privileged to come out with me and my guides on many occasions. One thing I have noticed with my clients, is when Sam is on safari with us it brings a child’s excitement and enthusiasm which lights up the day and is contagious.

The experiences that we can give to our children are numerous and as you all know in our day in age and in this society we need to encourage our kids and their buddies to go and explore.

I urge you all to take a kid out hunting, whether its your own or someone else , the world has so many amazing experiences, get out there and enjoy!
